the flicker of love that grew to a flame began with some Tinder

Alexis and Ryan thankfully met on Tinder in January 2016. They chatted back and forth for a little while, until Alexis said something like "so are we going to meet or what?"


Ryan jumped on the opportunity and scheduled a date for a pajama pub crawl. They first met wearing pajamas.


They've loved each other's company since then, traveling the world, laughing at each other's ridiculous puns, making faces in pictures, engaging in perspective changing deep discussions, and falling in love more and more every day.

Alexis is a hard working, hard playing, dedicated lover of art and children with 3 master's degrees. No wonder she became an art teacher. She's wonderfully insightful, supportive and strong. Did I just win the lottery? How you feel about another person in a relationship is not as important as how they make you feel about you. I'm ready to spend the rest of my life trying to make her feel as good about herself as she makes me feel.

Although drinking from a small bottle, there is nothing small about this man. Ryan has a big heart that cares deeply about his family, friends, pup and obviously me. His big, metaphorically speaking, brain is constantly thinking of ways to improve or create his next project. His big personality is loud enough to reflect his passions without drowning out others. He also makes me crazy happy in a BIG way, and I'm glad he's all mine (almost).

If you have been invited to the ceremony, please plan to be present 30 minutes early. We will begin at 4:30 PM sharp.
The ceremony will take approximately 30 minutes and will be immediately followed by a champagne toast and dinner.

RECEPTION

We will be serving light snacks, refreshments, and limited alcohol for the reception.
The only children present will be nieces and nephews, the breaking of a piñata will signify that it's time for them to depart.

We'll have home brew on draft, a selection of spirits, wine, and some good tunes!
Amplified music will end at 10pm. We'll provide burgers and dogs for party grub, feel free to bring anything else you'd like to grill or eat.
Bring a swimsuit for the hot tub.

Dress Code

Suits and Cocktail Dresses for the ceremony and reception. Wear sensible shoes for grass and some dirt areas.
Please feel free to bring a change of clothes to get more comfortable for the party.
The temperature will likely be 45° in the evening, please plan appropriately.

Lodging

For those planning to stay, we have rented all 3 cabins on the property so people can stay the night, they sleep a total of 40 people.

If you'd like to stay at the cabin with us, we ask that you please pitch in $50 per night/per person.
Please indicate your desire to stay in your RSVP at the bottom of this page. Ryan will reach out to you to arrange logistics and payment. First come, first serve.

If you would like to stay somewhere close by, Solitude Resort is about 1 mile away. There are also additional cabins and inns nearby with Pine Tree Cabin Rental, Silver Fork Lodge and Silpow lodge.

Breakfast

We will provide a breakfast for those staying the night. You may be asked to help clean up a bit to be ready for our 11am checkout on July 28th.

Pre-Wedding

We have rented the cabins Friday night as well to relax and prepare for the wedding.
If you have been invited to the Ceremony, and you would like to stay with us Friday night, please do. We'll be there by 4pm. We might plan a short hike and will definitely have some hot tub time.
We'll provide lasagna and salad for dinner. We'll also provide breakfast on our wedding day and a light lunch. BYOB.
You might be asked to help us a bit with wedding preparations.

We are fortunate (and old) enough to have most things we need.
We are, however, registered on Amazon for a few things, and Target which includes Honeyfund for a honeymoon.
